FAQS

Where are you located?

We are located at 1900 Gornto Road in the Peachtree Plaza next to The Wax Bar and Express Personnel.

Do we need a Reservation?

Due to Covid-19 and the Delta Variant, we are doing reservations only.

What is the price of a candle making class, and what is included?

Each spot is $45 and that includes candle wax material, wicks, fragrance oils, a 12 oz. vessel of your choice to hold the candle, a step-by-step instructor led class, and a guaranteed fun time!

How big are the class sizes, and how long do they usually last?

Class sizes can be as large as 24 people or as small as 1 person. It all depends on how many spaces are booked. The experience will last between 45 minutes to 1 hour and the drying time is 45 minutes. The drying time will allow the candle to set enough to travel home but if you wish to come back another day to pick up the candle, we will hold it for you for 30 days.

What is the cancelation policy?

We offer guests full refunds for cancelations to scheduled classes 24 hours (one days) in advance to their scheduled reservation. If a guest needs to cancel within 24 hours of their scheduled class, full refunds will not be offered and the $45 paid will be for booking fee for holding your seat. Guests who arrive 10 minutes late will not be omitted into class and will not receive a refund. Please be mindful that when we reserve your seat, we are blocking out time from someone else for you and your guest. Be sure to cancel 24 hours prior and to show up at least 10 minutes early.

What exactly are Candle Palace Valdosta candles made of?

Our candles are a combination of coconut wax, soy, and other vegetable waxes.  We also use phthalate free fragrance oils. They are FDA approved and cruelty free. The oils are skin & soap safe, and - sourced right here in the USA. We offer over 21 different fragrances for you to choose from.

Are the candles fragranced? Can I make mine non-fragranced?

Yes, our candles contain fragrance - but if you would rather no fragrance at all, that's totally fine and up to you. You can create an unscented candle if you like.

Can I mix fragrances when making a candle?

Unfortunately, we do not allow any mixing of scents. We want to make sure you create a great smelling candle, and we don't know what kind of scent will be created when mixing scents. Mixing scents can also affect how the candle burns.

Are reservations required or do you accept walk-ins?

At this time, reservations are required due to a limited number of seats and social distancing measures. You can reserve your seat via phone or through our website.

Is there a minimum and maximum class size?

No event is too big or too small - all are welcome! All class times will go on as scheduled regardless of the attendance size.

Can you host in any space, or just the store?

At this time, we are only hosting in just our store. In the future, we will be able to host in all different kinds of spaces, not just our store! We will keep you updated.

Will you hold my candle if I can't wait the 45-minute dry time?

Yes! Your candles will be stored safely with us until you can make it back to pick your candle up. We will give you a courtesy phone call if you haven't picked-up after 30 days.

Can I refill a candle from a past visit?

Yes, we love when our customers return and want to recycle the same vessel. We will offer a re-pouring class for 20% off.  You are also welcome to drop off the vessel and we will refill it for you for 1/2 off.

Do you accept credit cards, or just cash?

We are cashless but accept credit, debit cards. We strongly recommend booking online prior to coming into the store due to limited availability.
